BRICKELL

Brickell is the city's financial center, where glittering business towers and luxury condos tower over Biscayne Bay. Rooftop bars and surf 'n' turf grills cater to the banking and business crowd, while the art galleries and fashionable boutiques in the Brickell City Centre attract chic locals. The Brickell Avenue Bridge spans the Miami River and has views of the waterfront Miami Circle park and archaeological site.

KEY BISCAYNE

Key Biscayne is a Florida town on a barrier island across the Rickenbacker Causeway from Miami. It lies between 2 large parks—Crandon Park and Bill Baggs Cape Florida State Park—each with long, sheltered beaches, mangroves and tropical forest inhabited by birdlife, butterflies and loggerhead turtles. The latter is home to the 19th-century Cape Florida Lighthouse.

FISHER ISLAND

Fisher Island is a census-designated place in Miami-Dade County, Florida, United States, located on a barrier island of the same name. Since 2015, Fisher Island has the highest per capita income of any place in the United States. The CDP had only 218 households and a total population of 467.

COCONUT GROVE

Hugging the shoreline of Biscayne Bay, Coconut Grove is an upscale, leafy neighborhood with relaxed sidewalk cafes and chic shops in and around the CocoWalk mall. The area's several green spaces include bay-front Barnacle Historic State Park, home to a mangrove forest, and the iconic Vizcaya Museum and Gardens, centered on a lavish Italian-style villa. Sailing clubs and marinas dot the waterfront.

DOWNTOWN MIAMI

Downtown Miami is a busy shopping area with cultural and event venues. During the day, the open-air malls, department stores and jewelry shops are busy with foot traffic, while at night, crowds descend on the American Airlines Arena for Miami Heat basketball games and big-name concerts. The Adrienne Arsht Center hosts the Miami City Ballet and Florida Grand Opera, and the Pérez Art Museum Miami shows contemporary art.

MIAMI BEACH

Miami Beach is a south Florida island city, connected by bridges to mainland Miami. Wide beaches stretch from North Shore Open Space Park, past palm-lined Lummus Park to South Pointe Park. The southern end, South Beach, is known for its international cachet with models and celebrities, and its early-20th-century architecture in the Art Deco Historic district with pastel-colored buildings, especially on Ocean Drive.

SUNNY ISLES BEACH

Sunny Isles Beach is a city located on a barrier island in northeast Miami-Dade County, Florida, United States. The city is bounded by the Atlantic Ocean on the east and the Intracoastal Waterway on the west.

CORAL GABLES

Coral Gables is a city near Miami, in Florida. It's home to the 1920s Venetian Pool, carved from a rock quarry, with its grottoes, towers and bridge. Coral Gables Merrick House is the restored childhood home of city founder George Merrick. Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden includes tree-lined lakes, a tropical rainforest and a butterfly display. The collections at Lowe Art Museum include Cuban and Caribbean works.

AVENTURA

Aventura is a planned, suburban city in northeastern Miami-Dade County, Florida, United States, 17 miles north of the city of Miami, FL, and part of the Miami metropolitan area. The most famous shopping attraction is Aventura Mall, a 2,400,000 sq ft (222,967 m2) indoor shopping center.

BAL HARBOUR

Bal Harbour is a community of about 3,000 residents who enjoy a very lavish, comfortable, pampered lifestyle in the most luxurious residences and condos, with exceptional shopping, dining and entertainment.

MIDTOWN

Midtown Miami is the collective term for the Wynwood and Edgewater neighborhoods of Miami, Florida, United States, north of Downtown and south of the Miami Design District. It is roughly bound by North 20th Street to the south, I-195 to the north, I-95 to the west and Biscayne Bay to the east.

EDGEWATER

Skirting the shore of Biscayne Bay, Edgewater is known for its luxury apartment buildings and high-rise condos lining the waterfront. Also on the bay, Margaret Pace Park has a paved trail and tennis courts, plus shady picnic areas. Shops along Biscayne Boulevard sell designer fashion and modern furniture, while dining options range from posh seafood restaurants and rustic Italian trattorias to low-key sandwich spots.

DESIGN DISTRICT

The Design District is known for its sleek modern architecture, upscale interior design stores and art galleries. Luxury fashion and jewelry boutiques, cafes and celebrity-chef restaurants draw a well-heeled crowd. Public art dotting the area includes the Fly’s Eye Dome, a geodesic dome designed by inventor Buckminster Fuller. The Institute of Contemporary Art shows cutting-edge work in an ultra-modern building.

WYNWOOD

Known for its many colorful murals, Wynwood is one of the city’s most happening districts. Wynwood Walls is an outdoor museum showcasing large-scale works by some of the world’s best-known street artists. The surrounding streets have converted warehouses housing craft breweries and funky art galleries. A hip young crowd frequents the neighborhood’s chic clothing boutiques, stylish bistros and late-night bars.
